		<description>Thanks for comment. I don't blame people for having a free-lance mentality these days, and if you've got the talent, you charge what you can for it. And I generally agree about the less structure the better concept.

To me, that doesn't represent an entitlement mentality. If it does to other Boomers, so bad.

The thing that gets me is how Boomers as a group have been the most pampered generation in the history of man, they are about to put the screws to younger people, and they somehow think younger poeple aren't going to fight back when they see that the fix is in.</description>

		<description>I resemble this post.  My jobs average about one and a half years before I move on to something else.

Fun:  Why shouldn't work be fun?  Blame this on Silicon Valley and the 90's.  We now know that jobs can be fun.  Therefore we will choose fun jobs over non-fun jobs as long as they are out there.
But fun is pretty nebulous.  A fun job is one where the job expectation is clear and everything that is irrelevant to the job is thrown overboard.  Work times, lunch hours, dress codes, all thrown overboard.  The fun workplace is one where as long as you do your job correctly, no one cares what else you do.

Loyalty:  Don't expect it.  Corporations broke their loyalty contract about 20 years ago when they started dumping people.  Young workers don't expect loyalty from a company, but in return they don't give it either.  Think mercenaries, hired guns, and you will get the idea.</description>
