Positivity: Man Rescued with Help of Wireless Phone as His Vehicle Hung Over a Dam

I thought this only happened in movies:

Man rescued from car hanging over dam

In South Australia, a Trott Park man had a lucky escape overnight when he was rescued from his car which was left dangling over a farm dam south of Adelaide.

The 31-year-old man used his mobile phone to call police after his Ford sedan left Fork Tree Rd at Carrickalinga, crashed through two fences, then came to rest with its front wheels hanging over the dam.

It took emergency volunteers two hours to find the man, who was unable to give them his exact location.

After being towed free of the dam, the man told police he had swerved to miss a fox and lost control of his vehicle.
