Knock Me Over with a Feather (Credible Claim That Saddam Transferred Chem Weapons to Syria)

The New York Sun Story (HT Atlas Shrugs):

Saddam’s WMD Moved to Syria, An Israeli Says

Saddam Hussein moved his chemical weapons to Syria six weeks before the war started, Israel’s top general during Operation Iraqi Freedom says.

The assertion comes as President Bush said yesterday that much of the intelligence on Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction was incorrect.

The Israeli officer, Lieutenant General Moshe Yaalon, asserted that Saddam spirited his chemical weapons out of the country on the eve of the war. “He transferred the chemical agents from Iraq to Syria,” General Yaalon told The New York Sun over dinner in New York on Tuesday night. “No one went to Syria to find it.”

Two responses:
1. If true, will the president retract the asertion that “much of the intelligence ….. was incorrect”? (as he should)
2. Plenty of WMDs have been found (ignored by the WORMs [Worn Out Reactionary Media, known to most as The Mainstream Media] except in isolated reports, but gathered together along with many other nuggets of truth is a book called “Disinformation“).

-We thinks you have been staring at too many animated Gif’s of the Atom Bomb blast at the Bikini Atoll.

If the Right Wing ghetto of Regnery books roasting that old chestnut of the abandoned site at Tuwaitha as a WMD claim- it’s still just that, an old chestnut.

By the way, would’nt the White House or the Pentagon perhaps give a littly bit ‘ol news about it as Justification of the invasion?

    Did they?..

    Nuh,

    Nuh,…

    No…

  2. #1, did you bother to go to my post that has links to predominantly WORM/MSM sources…..?

Please do, and come back only when you can refute EVERY SINGLE ONE of them.

I just verified that the WORM/MSM links haven’t moved.

  3. Wow, nice work. I too was preparing an article about GW’s comment that much of the intel was bad. I still don’t understand how he can say that when many other nations agreed (and still do) with our intelligence estimates.

On another note – don’t you just love it when people argue with you while at the same time not providing any facts?

    Feelings != Truth

  4. #3, Thanks. #1′s sole semi-valid point is wondering why the administration hasn’t challenged the “no WMD” lie in light of available evidence. I don’t get it, except to say that maybe they feel intimidated until they find more (I think what’s there is plenty).

It’s bad enough when people argue without facts, but it’s worse when you run the facts under their bleeping noses and they don’t even bother to look.
