		<description>#1, I agree that it won't be easy. I have a couple of free search engines listed under "technical and search" on the right that you might want to try.

I know the hacktivists are working hard and they are incredibly brave, noble, and remarkably successful. But if it isn't transparent and easily accessible to the casual user, the government has won most of the battle.</description>

		<description>There is a huge article in today's Wall Street Journal about the extraordinary efforts of "hacktivists" to keep the free flow of information to China alive (no thanks to outfits like Google).  Efforts like "Freegate" manage to stay one step ahead of the Golden Shield nationwide firewall.  The guy who runs the project compares it to the red pill in The Matrix that shows you reality as it truly is.

I'll try and boycot Google tomorrow, but it'll be hard.  I guess I can't use Yahoo either (not that I've used it for years).  Hmm ...</description>
