Word is that Smith has raised more than 10K and it shows with website and materials. 2) Miami County Result: Pierce came in well behind Smith in this election which, given the population in Miami county is more representative of a general election. If Pierce is that far behind Smith, it seems to me that Pierce is the one with a snowball's chance in hell of winning a primary against DeWine. If Pierce had as much momentum and electability as folks here seem to claim and considering that he has all his time to devote to this election, he SHOULD have been the clear winner of the challengers at this event.
