Bainbridge: Eliot Spitzer Wants to Be President
Stephen Bainbridge reviews Mr. Spitzer’s career thus far and concludes that Spitzer wants to be President: “He is unlikely to settle for being governor of New York; instead, he clearly wants to follow the path to the White House blazed by former New York governor Theodore Roosevelt.”
Don’t say you haven’t been warned.

Given his stance on… let’s see here… just about EVERYTHING I am passionate about, the prospect of a Spitzer candidacy is indeed terrifying. It would be funny to even consider, except we used to joke about a John Kerry candidacy when I was in the College Republicans. My, how times change.

He should follow Teddy Roosevelt’s example and lead troops in Cuba.

#2, I’m afraid he’d try to lead the other side’s troops.
