Welcome LGF, Hot Air, and other readers! (Thanks to both for the linkovers.) If you’re still looking for a Christmas gift for someone else, or want to keep a New Year’s resolution to get a handle on your moolah and eliminate debt, click on the “Control Your Money Now” graphic on the right.

The original (from Daily Gut and LGF; link is to LGF):

What it says now (as of 12:15 ET; halfway down to the SECOND picture of Ahmadinejad on right; link may require skipping Chrysler ad):

TimeAhmad1

(Future-reference backups: Old, New)

The poor editing reflected in the fact that the first version could ever get through, plus site navigation seemingly designed to maximize annoyance while forcing maximum page views, is why they could name ME sole winner of Person of the Year and I would still not subscribe.

  3. It’s a shame that Time has just come to the knowledge that the web kicking their butts. I don’t buy it. I believe they’ve known for a while. What about those ‘poor’ folk who don’t have a computer? Won’t they ‘feel’ left out? So I guess it really isn’t about ‘You’ (meaning everyone).

I heard the reason they didn’t choose Ahmadinejad is because they didn’t want to deal with the backlash. From whom? Him? lol. Have a great day.

  4. The headline no longer makes sense. What’s the “paradox,” if he’s described only as a polarizing figure? Liberal morons.

  5. #3, I think they would have chosen the *Axis of 3* (Kim, Ahmadinejad, and Chavez) if they were not afraid of the backlash you mentioned. I do not think, even if you ignore the evil, that they deserved it. They did not have a lot of impact in 2006 itself. Potentially, OMG.

  7. [...] Slightly O/T, this fellow knows the way TIME magazine thinks better than they do, apparently. Lame, Lame, Lame. You look at the cover of Time magazine and think, “boy, they’re really afraid of pissing anyone off…” Although, look at what TIME had to say about the president of Iran, before they changed it. Bizzyblog has some thoughts on that. [...]

  9. Well, at least TIME will have plenty of paper to pad the birdcage when people realize what kind of garbage they print. Merry Christmas!
