If This Doesn’t Call for a Presidential Pardon…..

Filed under: Immigration, Taxes & Government — TBlumer @ 6:15 am

….. I don’t know what does (HT Conservative Culture).

If you read the WashTimes story, you may wonder first why anyone would want to be in the Border Patrol any more, and second, why we don’t have a more significant military presence there. Like it or not, we ARE being invaded, and when that occurs, a sane country defends itself with soldiers.

This is what happens when the elites of both parties refuse to carry out their most basic duties.

  1. A story about all the Presidential pardons was in the news. Why this isn’t one of them is way beyond me.

  3. There are some who claim to be conservatives who prefer cheap illegal labor to border enforcement. Watch the financial shows and you’ll see folks like Kudlow claiming it is purely an economic issue. During the last election season he was cheering on the losses of anyone who believed in our sovereignty like J.D. Hayworth.

  4. #3, Re “prefer cheap illegal labor to border enforcement” — the WSJ on the subscriber side has an absolutely disgraceful editorial about that today. I just want to throttle ‘em.

  5. […] Bizzyblog and conservative culture tipped me off to this Washington Times story: A Republican congressman yesterday asked President Bush to have “some Christian charity and pardon” two U.S. Border Patrol agents facing lengthy prison terms following their convictions for shooting a suspected drug smuggler in the buttocks.
