New Blogad

Filed under: Environment, Taxes & Government, US & Allied Military — TBlumer @ 9:41 am

BizzyBlog isn’t against advertisers with contrary opinions expressed civilly. Hence the new Blogad, appropriately found in the *left* adstrip. Go to its link. If you have any reax to share, feel free to comment.

Don Surber, as you might expect, has a strong opinion.

I’m still waiting for someone to tell me why Fred Singer, as noted here in mid-March, is wrong. If Singer’s right, there isn’t even a need to worry about “National Security and Climate Change.”

  1. To paraphrase the lefties, “how many peer-reviewed papers have have the retired generals and admirals written”?

I love their recommendations, especially the one about evaluating military bases to determine oif they would be adversely affected by sea level changes. Even if th global warming theory turned out by some fluke to be true, the length of time it would take to be affecting sea level would be greater than the length of the Cold War. Do our vaunted retired admirals and generals not believe that we may have geostrategic reasons for moving the darn bases long before any of them could possibly get wet?

  2. #1, Points well taken. I get the sense from the report that they had to strain mightily to come up with anything that would appear even close to being relevant.
