Positivity: Couple falls into marriage after many years

SHARONVILLE - Mary Lou Whitaker was serving as the greeter at the front door of Hartwell Baptist Church when she’d see R.L. Trammel walk in the church.
“She wouldn’t speak to me. I’d say ‘hello,’ and she’d say ‘nope,’” said 82-year-old Trammel, chuckling in a dapper tuxedo, his pale eyes twinkling.
“But we got that changed.”
A lace-trimmed 73-year-old Whitaker of Mason said “I do” to Trammel of Evendale in front of a roaring waterfall in Sharon Woods Park May 1. …..
