Positivity: Welcome Back, Binny

Filed under: Positivity — TBlumer @ 5:56 am

If there’s ever a competition for “Must Underappreciated Web Resource,” Binyamin L. Jolkovsky’s Jewish World Review (JWR) would be an odds-on favorite to win.

For at least nearly 10 years (his maiden announcement is here), Jolkovsky has almost (totally?) singlehandedly published what is STILL the most complete compilation of punditry I know of (scroll down through the left frame, or just through today’s lineup; what a feast!) — and much, much more.

Jolkovsky’s father recently passed away, causing him to be away from JWR for a while. He reports in an e-mail that “More than TEN THOUSAND of you sent condolence letters. To say that I was — and remain — touched is an understatement. How I wish that I could respond to each!” Rest assured, sir, that JWR has hundreds of thousands of fans over and above that group of ten thousand.

Welcome back, Binny, and may G-d help you through your grief.
