#2, I want her out. NOW.

I want BOOHOO out there by himself for as long as possible. The longer he's the clear sole standard-bearer, IMO the weaker he will look. In fact, by convention time, I think he'll be looking to add a veep who will give him (irony) gravitas.

I would prefer that my 12/06 prediction be incorrect.

I'm hoping for a brokered Democrat convention. Up for grabs would be votes floating around from Edwards' delegates (about 40), from the Super Delegates (765?) and from the Michigan and Florida delegations which aren't supposed to be allowed to vote. There would be chaos, confusion, turmoil, conflict, disturbance, demonstrations, noise and tumult--and that's just the opening ceremony. As the convention proceeds there would be teeth, hair and eyeballs all over the convention floor. And out of the maelstrom I would expect Monica Lewinsky's
ex-boyfriend's wife to emerge as the victor and the nominee and the head of a hopelessly fractured party headed for election disaster in November. And I wouldn't miss anything by watching it from gavel to gavel on C-Span.

A good friend from the newspaper profession says that a brokered convention might well choose Evan Bayh or Al Gore as the standard-bearer. So be it! That kind of compromise would leave two deeply disgruntled factions in the guts of the Jackass party instead of just one. Bring it on!

No different than our slimey congress critter that will vote for Osama when the district went for Shrillary. Democrats are so simple minded they will forget about that when they vote for the slime ball again.
