Light (or Maybe Not) Posting Alert
I am attending a gathering of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, otherwise known as the Media Research Center’s 2008 Annual Gala, this Thursday evening in Washington. I am honored and grateful to have received MRC’s invitation.
The Gala will feature the DisHonor Awards, dishonoring the most outrageous things said by supposedly objective Old Media dinosaurs in 2007, and the presentment of the 2008 William F. Buckley Jr. Award for Media Excellence to Tony Snow. It promises to be a splendid event, and likely an emotional one to boot.
Blogging may be light from now until Friday as travel preparations, getting the next Pajamas column out on time, the travel itself (out Wednesday, back Friday), a cook’s tour of the MRC fortress, Gala-related receptions, and other related happenings intervene. I’m not confident that I’ll have time to post ahead very much before I leave for the event early Wednesday.
On the other hand, based on the known and potential luminaries in attendance, and some possible downtime during the festivities, I may have some interesting things to report that will require midnight oil-burning.

Have a good time, Tom.

Make sure to say hello to our fellow members of the VRWC from all the denizens out here. If there is any help they want, all they need do is ask.
