MRC’s DisHonors Gala Now Up on EyeBlast TV
The 2008 Media Research Center 2008 Gala, a splendid gathering that attracted about 1,000 participants, took place last night.
A complete replay, broken down into manageable segments, is here.
The “don’t miss these” items are:
- The introduction to and speech by Tony Snow (scroll to the bottom for the vids). The only thing missing is the emotional ovation Snow received. You had to be there.
- The Special Tribute to Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient Lt. Michael Patrick Murphy USN (SEAL). Note the generosity of one T. Boone Pickens.
The vids are carried on EyeBlast TV, a new venture of MRC whose goal is to be the place to go for the latest in conservative and free-market video content. The video-savvy should take a close look at this very promising venture. Those who aren’t (like me) probably need to consider becoming so.
On a shameless plug note, yours truly was the first to blog at NewsBusters on one of last night’s nominees (also noted in second item at this BizzyBlog post). That would be McClatchy Newspapers’ October 2007 gem: “As violence falls in Iraq, cemetery workers feel the pinch.”
I thank the MRC for inviting me, and for their outstanding hospitality during the trip.

#1, oh stop it; being there definitely gives one the “small fish in very big pond” feeling.
