- Cindy Sheehan is on the November ballot against Nancy Pelosi for the Speaker’s seat in Congress. I still say she had a chance if she had gone for a Democratic Primary upset, especially since it was held on a date different from the presidential primary. She has almost no chance now, though it will be interesting to see if she makes Pelosi sweat just a little.
- In Minnesota, US Senate candidate, multi-state tax scofflaw, political execution “jokester,” all-around not-funny guy, and (surprise!) Democrat Al Franken is searching for votes, one at a time.
- Ed Morrissey at Hot Air, like me yesterday, thinks that John Edwards could survive the Rielle Hunter affair and make a political comeback. Two questions: In a nation of over 300 million, he’s among the best available? Or is it that he’s among the best lefties available?
- ARIFPOTUS (Accused Rapist and Impeached Former President of the United States) Bill Clinton has been offered a speaking slot at the Democratic National Convention, which he will apparently accept. OK, so why not John Edwards? Related historical reality check from Anchoress: “Remember, had it not been for Drudge, Newsweek would have spiked Isikoff’s story on Clinton and Monica, too.”
I am so tired of voters not voting for candidates who have had affairs. Candidates who are well qualified to lead this country dropped because they had a moment of passion. I care not what a man does with his penis- I am interested in what he has in his head to save our country. There is so much pressure in this job of running a country or anything to do with a Senator or Rep job. We are luckey they all don’t kill themselves because of the pressure and decision making. This is between the wife and the husband. We have nothing to do with this part of his life. It is the way man is made–it is something he needs. Wives don’t always responed to their needs so–sometime they have to venture out–I feel it has nothing to do with the love of the spouse. It is just physcal- kill tension need.

#1, it’s not the affairs so much as the lies (and in Clinton’s case, the P-E-R-J-U-R-Y that accompanies them). In JFK’s case it’s the serial adultery that even may have jeorpardized national security.
It is the way man is made–it is something he needs. Wives don’t always respond to their needs so–sometime they have to venture out–I feel it has nothing to do with the love of the spouse. It is just physcal- kill tension need.
That leaves me positively speechless, except to ask — What about “for better or worse” don’t you understand?

Well, it was a surprise. As in other posts, most of us know some men cannot say ” No”, to sex. He’s human, does not make him ok. Most men won’t talk about it, in this instance it’s different, due to who he is.
Besides that, I didnt’ think she was very pretty. His wife is, and I feel sorry for her. I hope they can make it ok again? For the children also. Edwards will hate himself for a long time, I just hope it all comes out ok….

It’s advertised daily, yet it still goes one.Why dont’ people stop to think?? Is sex more important than your life? One would think NOT!
Sex is a matter of body over mind! Most don’t think twice, then again, the temptation is sometimes too strong and they can’t (won’t) pass it up.
