#2: I suppose that’s the difference between left and right in the blogosphere – the leftosphere would be scrambling to hide such things, pretending no such thing ever happened. The rightosphere will point them out themselves as they act to right the errors in question.

It may be that sense of shared ethics in how one deals with one’s errors that helps explain why the MSM sources so much of their recent reporting from the leftosphere – in their mindset, if it hasn’t been hidden or concealed yet, it must still be true.

Still though, the idea is a great idea for a rainy day post: What kind of personal benefit would justify a lie?
