The nameless and faceless burecrats in "children's services" or whatever the title is, often have to have their knuckles rapped to keep them out of people's lives. School districts are just as bad. HSLDA isn't the only organization out there for homeschoolers, another good one is National Home Education Legal Defense (http://nheld.com). HSLDA is the largest and most visible organization.
