As we enter the eighth month of the POR (Pelosi-Obama-Reid) Economy, their self-appointed media spokesmouths are complaining about the conditions they and their party, more than anyone else, brought on. Too bad, so sad. Writer Steve Thomma also repeats Obama’s preposterous post-election benchmark that he will “create or save 3 million jobs” — when during the presidential campaign, all he talked about was creating them.

Here’s a partial explanation of why Europe is cooling to the idea of global warming — “Temperatures plunged to record lows in Germany and heavy snow forced normally sunny Marseille to close its international airport as freezing winter weather gripped much of Europe on Wednesday. Port authorities in the Dutch city of Rotterdam deployed an icebreaking ship for the first time 12 years …..”

Patrick Poole: “Top American Islamic Cleric Threatens U.S. on Egyptian TV.” The cleric, Salah Sultan, operates out of the Columbus, Ohio suburb of Hilliard, and says that “One of these days, the U.S. will suffer more deaths than all those killed in this third Gaza holocaust. This will happen soon.”

Then he recited the same anti-Semitic Islamic hadith that Ahmed Alzaree couldn’t explain away in the fall of 2007 when he ultimately decided that he could not serve as imam at the Islamic Center of Cleveland, and whined that it was because Poole and yours truly had made serving there impossible.

This comes on the heels of Swamp Bubbles finding the same hadith in use at Toledo’s mosque. Ohio media’s refusal to report what is being said and done by the likes of Sultan is disgraceful.

Yet another media-made Obama excuse, courtesy of Associated Press reporter and Democratic Party operative Jennifer Loven:

Obama has to give Congress in early February a budget request – at least the bare bones of one – covering spending for the next fiscal year. Because that’s so soon after he takes over the executive branch of government, his submission won’t be anything like the usual one that fills several volumes and hundreds of pages.

Oh stop it, Jen. He campaigned for two years. He had the largest group by far of campaign apparatchiks in the history of the human race during most of the past year. But all he can manage is “bare bones”? What, besides preening on podiums with the seal of the fake “Office of the President-Elect,” have he and his people been doing during the last two months?
