As a radio listener, I’ve noticed an increase in the number of ads promoting government programs. It seems almost half of all ads these days are for some government agency to reduce your carbon footprint, to get vaccinated for the flu, to participate in the census, etc. These ads provide revenue to the radio stations, but I am really getting turned off by the political correctness, the waste of tax dollars, and the notion that I need the federal government to tell my kids to turn off lights when they leave the room!
