NOW HAG (Hugely Annoying Gal) and Joe Biden Miss Memo That ‘War on Women’ Meme Is a Loser

Filed under: Taxes & Government — Tom @ 1:02 pm

At Hot Air (“NOW president: Ann Romney lacks ‘life experience’ and ‘imagination’ to relate to most Americans; “italics in original; video at link):

Via Newsbusters, NOW (National Organization of I Don’t Know What Kind of Women) President Terry O’Neill ignores the First Rule of Holes (stop digging!) and provides another cycle for Republicans to defend Ann Romney and stay-at-home moms.  Instead of leaving bad enough alone, O’Neill appeared on Ed Schultz’ MSNBC show last night and attempted to rewrite Hilary Rosen’s faceplant and keep the attack on Ann Romney for not having a salaried job in the workforce as a means to paint the Romneys as out of touch.

So O’Neill also apparently wants to divide women in the workplace between hourly vs. salaried (the salaried are “in touch” and one could infer that the hourlies might not be). Keep digging, girl.

Speaking of digging, at the same link, we see Clueless Joe Biden doubling down:

Vice President Joe Biden said tonight that what he called a Republican-led effort to rollback the rights of women is “real” and will “intensify.”

“I think the ‘war on women’ is real,” Biden told MSNBC’s “The Ed Show,” deploying the politically-charged phrase for the first time on the national stage.

It’s enough to make you think that Biden might want off the ticket, but that would give him too much credit for having the ability to think things through.

UPDATE (Warning — extremely offensive language at link): Twitchy has quite a bit of evidence that quite a few leftists either haven’t gotten or ignoring the “now war on women” memo, and have gone extremely vicious on Ann Romney (i.e., making “hag” look like a compliment). Where did all those anti-bullying admonishments go?
