#4 LB, indeed. One NB commenter suggested (with me extending it a bit) that if Jerry Brown is so convinced that California’s great climate and supposed amenities are sufficient to attract businesses from TX to CA, he should do in TX what Perry did in CA. Good luck with that.

Is Miss Williams unaware that one of the responsibilities of every governor is to attract new business to their state? He’d have been irresponsible if he did not target businesses in states with lousy environments for success. Any state/city with high taxes need to understand their actions will have consequences and that companies/people will vote with their feet.
