Latest PJ Media Column (‘ObamaCare’s 30-Hour Work Week: Fulfilling a Longtime Leftist Dream?’) Is Up

It’s here.

It will go up here at BizzyBlog on Sunday (link won’t work until then) after the blackout expires.

  • Investor’s Business Daily (“Employee Benefits Fall As Firms Brace For ObamaCare”) — “In the past six months or so, a parade of service-sector companies has said they’re mulling changes to worker hours and health benefits to reduce the cost of complying with ObamaCare.”
  • Investor’s Business Daily editorial (“The ObamaCare Train Wreck Is Already Here “) — “retailers are cutting worker hours ‘at a rate not seen in more than three decades.’ … the culprit is clearly ObamaCare. The average workweek in April was 2% shorter than it was a year ago, marking the ‘steepest sustained decline since 1980.’”
  • New York Times (“What Job-Sharing Brings”) –”… the Affordable Care Act suddenly pushes business toward part-time employment”

  1. The NYT story is absolutely ridiculous. So a spouse being forced to work when he or she doesn’t want to is good? And yeah, part time might give you more time with the kids, but so would unemployment. Family time is good, but the family needs to be able to afford to eat and pay the rent too. Sheesh.
