Salena Zito: “Obama’s Stunning Snub.” It really doesn’t stun me that Obama won’t be attending the 150th anniversary of Lincoln’s Gettysburg address. As Zito writes, “(he is) so detached from the duty of history, from the men who served in the White House before him, that it is unspeakable in its audacity.” But it is who he is.
Andrew McCarthy at National Review:
Obama’s Massive Fraud
If he were a CEO in the private sector, he’d be prosecuted for such deception.
… Barack Obama is guilty of fraud — serial fraud — that is orders of magnitude more serious than frauds the Justice Department routinely prosecutes, and that courts punish harshly. The victims will be out billions of dollars, quite apart from other anxiety and disruption that will befall them.
… It is highly unlikely that Barack Obama will ever be impeached. It is certain that he will never again be trusted. Republicans and sensible Democrats take heed: The nation may not have the stomach to remove a charlatan, but the nation knows he is a charlatan. The American people will not think twice about taking out their frustration and mounting anger on those who collaborate in his schemes.

Barack Obama, Oct. 23, 2012, at a presidential debate:
“As long as I’m president of the United States, Iran will not get a nuclear weapon. I’ve made that clear when I came into office.
… We then organized the strongest coalition and the strongest sanctions against Iran in history, and it is crippling their economy. Their currency has dropped 80 percent. Their oil production has plunged to the lowest level since they were fighting a war with Iraq 20 years ago. So their economy is in a shambles.
“And the reason we did this is because a nuclear Iran is a threat to our national security and it’s threat to Israel’s national security. We cannot afford to have a nuclear arms race in the most volatile region of the world.
… the deal we’ll accept is, they end their nuclear program. It’s very straightforward…
Kerry is in Geneva for talks aimed at putting limits on Iran’s ability to make nuclear weapons. Kerry says there important issues remain unresolved.
Talks include France, Britain, Germany and the U.S.
Kerry has suggested Washington wants Iran to commit to stop expanding activities that could lead to making weapons. In return, Tehran likely will insist on relief from sanctions that have stifled its economy.
So now Iran can have “nuclear activites” as long as those activities, which of course involve nuclear fission, don’t lead to “making weapons,” or worse, merely “limits” it without stopping it.
The slow systematic sell-out continues.
At the New York Post: “Obama using food-stamp cash to fund Michelle’s ‘Let’s Move’” He really is. He husband even said so when he “signed the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act. At the time, he admitted taking cash from one pocket to feed the other.”
