Latest PJ Media Column (‘Another Week, Another Trio of Obamacare Outrages’) Is Up

  1. So presumably if you want to limit your total financial exposure to medical costs you have to purchase Gap Insurance to cap the gross amount you would pay. It seems to me that it would be better to pay the fine and purchase Gap Insurance, given the high cost of the premiums and the high deductibles. What good is a health insurance policy if it forces the average person to pay all the medical expenses plus a high premium?

  3. #2, you sure? AARP gets to sell Medigap insurance…for those on Medicare.

  4. I think gap insurance has only been Medicare until now, and I doubt anyone will be allowed to take it further. Of course, a lot of candidates for this insurance won’t have any money left after paying the premiums for their crappy coverage.
