Follow-up Comment on ‘A Chaos-Driven Path to Single Payer?’ Column

From a commenter at my PJ Media column which appeared yesterday:

How can this incompetence be allowed to go unchecked? My insurance is under the FEHB (Federal Employees Health Benefits) program, and its online system has worked flawlessly and clearly for the several years I have been using it. Considering that it is possible to have safe and WORKING systems under the government, I am beginning to believe the accusations that this administration is deliberately trying to foist an unworkable system on the public, for reasons based on the Cloward-Piven ideas.

Great point. Much of the FEHB shell should have been portable. But it’s as if, as far as HHS is concerned, it doesn’t exist.

  1. Tom,

I’ve been telling folks for years that the failures of Obamacare are not bugs but rather a feature of an intentionally unworkable law. Obama and those pulling his strings have always desired a single payer system. However, there is no way people (or their representatives in Congress) would tolerate a single payer system in 2009 when a majority of people were basically okay with their plan. So, they realized the path to single payer required destruction of the current system. Obamacare is merely a mechanism to destroy the health care payment system. It is all about redistribution. The lies about their goals were merely to keep people from picking up pitchforks,

  2. Great points, Bill.

It’s stunning how many people refuse to figure out what’s happening right in front of their faces.
