The Punch Line Here Is Way Too Easy

From Zero Hedge:

America’s Women Go On Strike, Pledge To “Avoid Spending Money”

Women all around the United States plan to use today, International Women’s Day, to stay home from work and stage demonstrations to, among other things, continue their opposition efforts against the Trump administration and call attention to the gender pay gap.

In addition to not working, a great perk for protesters by itself, organizers suggest women wear red and also avoid spending money

From the “spending money” perspective, the guess here is that there are at least a few men out there who would like to see a “Women’s Strike” turn into a long-term enterprise.

  1. Oh, man, you’ll be lucky if you don’t catch hell for that remark. :)

  2. Well, it’s not as bad as the late Zig Ziglar’s joke, back in the day when people had a good-natured sense of humor: “Someone stole my wife’s MasterCard, but I don’t mind because they’re spending less than she did.”
