  1. In view of today’s vote to modify ObamaCare and NOT repeal it:

The GOP is committing suicide. Leave it to the Party of Stupid to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. But then what we should have realized that the GOP leadership like the DNC leadership operates on the principle of telling people whatever they want to hear in order to get in a position of power. They never had any intention of repealing ObamaCare.

I get the feeling their intent was to support the US Chamber of Commerce in socializing a benefit to drive up the cost of their competition. Every large company was at one time a small business. Keep the small business from forming in the first place will limit competition down the road. This is just cronyism under the guise of populism. What we are seeing is the GOP version of the DNC being for the war before they were against it. In this case the GOP was against ObamaCare (as political theater) while they are now for it otherwise they would have repealed by date certain and then given themselves time to put something back that made sense for everyone. As the article points out, the number of people with pre-existing conditions requiring expensive medical treatments is quite small on the order of around 110,000 for the entire country!!!

We need to primary every GOP leader. Do to them what we did to Eric Cantor.
