The national March for Life in Washington, D.C., routinely draws several hundred thousand participants from across the country.

But some people make the trek across international borders to take part in the march. …

… “My mother was almost tricked into having an abortion when she was pregnant with me…There wasn’t support from my father’s mom, and [my mom] was kicked out of where she was living. But she made the decision to choose life for me because she had seen pro-lifers like this supporting her, so she thought, ‘If there are people who don’t even know me who are willing to support me, to help me with resources, then I should choose life for my child.’” -Arianne, Canada

… “It is a a religious event for us, traveling so far from a little island, but the message that we will be bringing back to our community and our Church is ‘Let’s be pro-life, let’s change the world.” -Tajil, U.S. Virgin Islands
