‘Shock & Awe,’ Uh, Bombs at the Box Office — And Deservedly So

Rob Reiner’s movie about how the Bush 43 administration supposedly lied about Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction grossed $46,000, and left the few theaters in which it appeared after three days.

That’s because there were WMDs in Iraq, period. The Bush 43 administration, led by Karl Rove and with the inexcusable acquiescence of George W. Bush, chose not to fight to establish the truth.

There were WMDs in Iraq, and centuries of historical revisionism will never, ever change that.
