  1. The latest monthly SNAP figures for July has some 38 million people receiving food assistance. Half of the participants are children whose adult parent doesn’t make enough income to cause them to qualify for the program.

    I would like to propose a per capita “fee” on every employer importing foreign workers using either the worker visa programs OR caught using illegal aliens. This fee would be equal to cost of the SNAP program of one adult and their dependent child.

    We need to compensate the taxpayers for employers who have depressed wages at the bottom of the income scale so they can have cheap labor. It is patently unfair that we, the taxpayers are forced to subsidize their being cheap skates.
