First responders rarely get to find out what happens to the people they help, but one man got the opportunity to thank the men and women who saved his life on Wednesday.

Bob Beaman didn’t know he was having a heart attack when he called 911 back on March 3, and he also didn’t find out until over a month later what those first responders went through to get him the help he needed right away.

Beaman met with the people who saved his life at St. Francis Hopsital to thank them for their hard work.

The first responders and hospital staff were also awarded for their fast thinking.

Shrewsbury says she almost never gets the chance to catch up with the people she helps. …
