  1. A half truth is still a lie. Paying people to be unemployed or collect Food Stamps is NOT EQUAL to maintenance of a road. IF that were so, then paying people to dig holes and then paying to fill them up again for no other purpose than to keep them busy would be sound fiscal policy. ITS NOT!

    Remember my comment on bombs having more economic value than food stamps. Crude but true in it’s own reprehensible way.
